The Truth About RNA In Meat

We would first like to start off by saying: Dude Food never has and never will accept any meat from farmers who would administer any sort of rna vax in animals.

The Use Of mRNA

As of today, rna vaccines are NOT approved for use in any sort of cattle by the USDA. Some states have even moved forward pushing for a, much needed, harsher stance including: Idaho introduced a bill that would make it a misdemeanor to administer any type of mRNA vaccine to any person or mammal, including COVID-19 vaccines. A Missouri bill would have required the labeling of animal products derived from animals administered mRNA vaccines (if it were ever to become legal).

What Exactly Is The mRNA Vax?

A ‘textbook’ description of mRNA vaccines is that the vaccine "teaches" our body how to recognize and fight off a specific virus. The vaccine contains a small piece of genetic material called messenger RNA (mRNA), which provides instructions to cells on how to make cells to fight off any intrusion.

Will We See RNA In Meat In The Future?

Obviously we can't speak for all but we can pretty confidently say no. As ranchers continue to work toward the cleanest, most sustainable way of raising animals, it would not be a wise choice.
